Tracey Sutherland, 39, has been charged with manslaughter and neglect of her 13-month-old son, who was found dead at a house in Porlock Road, Baguley, Greater Manchester at the beginning of this week. Officers found baby Alexander Sutherland when they responded to a call at the address. Reportedly the call was made by Ms Sutherland, who informed them her son had been dead in the house for two days but she could not bear to be parted from him.

Sifting through data provided by Eurostat, Norway-based Institute for Family Policies has found that Britain ranked at the top of the European abortion list for 2007, overtaking France, a country with nearly six million more people. As teenage pregnancy rates have increased more than 30 percent over the last 10 years, abortion rates for girls under 18 have also increased.
