According to several reports, the actor has decided to pay a visit to his fourth child, Sophia, who was born on September 22, and is yet to meet her father. According to Samantha Burke, who is the mother of Sophia, Jude Law told her over the holidays that he would be visiting his daughter “within a few weeks.” An inside source told News of the World that Samantha is “over the moon.

It seems that Jude Law’s Christmas celebrations included an act of goodwill toward his 3-month-old daughter with Samantha Burke. The 37-year-old reportedly phoned his ex-girlfriend to arrange a date to meet his daughter for the first time! A source told The News of the World that Jude will meet Sophia “within a few weeks.” Speaking of Samantha, the source said, “She’s over the moon. She was hurt he had not seen Sophia.” The source went on to say that Samantha is hoping to reconcile with the actor.

We’ve already heard reports that Jude Law has yet to meet his 3-month-old daughter Sophia, but surely he hasn’t forgotten about her entirely?
It appears that Jude Law forgot how to count on his appearance on the David Letterman show last night. Jude Law made the normal late night appearance to promote his new movie Sherlock Holmes but he has caused quite a stir from something that he said on the show. Jude was talking about how he likes to take his kids on an “adventure” for the holidays when Dave asked him how many children he has, the actor responded “three.” Jude Law does have three children with his ex-wife Sadie Frost, but he also has a daughter who was born this year to Samantha Burke.
