The mother of 3 young boys appeared on the Oprah show and revealed that the demands of motherhood and the need to escape motivated her to write the Twilight saga. Stephanie Meyer doesn’t make that many large public appearances but with the release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon the writer appeared on the Oprah show as well as walking down the red carpet at the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles.
